Strict OHP: Max Set 80LBS
Assisted Pull Ups – 130LB
Jerk Press – 95LBS
Recovery Walk: 2Miles @ 19:27/m pace
Felt strong through the whole workout. Completed the Main and secondary circuits in real good time. By the time I reached the assistance circuits my shoulders and triceps were smoked.
I took the time to do a 2 mile active recovery walk near the end of the night. The first few minutes was kinda tough to get moving. Had lower back pain on the right side. This moved to the hip like usual. By the 1.25 – 1.5 mile point everything seemed to be working good. The pace was manageable and I was experiencing no pain.
I am still looking forward to doctors visit on March 14th to help determine the cause of the discomfort. This really needs to be addressed before i get to far down the road on this journey.
I have a lot of questions and spend a few hours a week reading and studying various aspects of the ultra sport. While it is nice to learn – right now my focus must be on diet and weight loss!
Stay focused on the short term goals!
